J. Cowhie is a Dublin born musician and artist.
For over 20 years he has been composing under various aliases,
exploring a wide range of genres including folk, electronic,
experimental, drone, and noise.
His work is fueled by a passion for the materiality of sound and its
ability to evoke emotional and transcendental experiences.
More recently his sound work has crossed over into fields such as
sonic interaction, embodied interaction, somaesthetics,
and multisensory exploration.
